I just wanted to remind you that there are just a few more hours left in my GIVEAWAY if you want to enter! I also wanted to share what we did today in class today. It was a bit wild at times because I have 38 kids in my room at one time (my partner teacher was at home with her sick baby boys and we didn't have a sub) but luckily had the help of our exceptional ed team for a while. But, this is what we did:
It worked really well until I realized I had forgotten to print off the hats. At times it seemed like chaos. I heard comments like, "I've lost my hair!" and "Have you seen my shoe?" Probably not the best day to do a craft but we had fun anyway. I highly suggest this! I meant to take pictures but when you are shuffling 38 kids out the door at dismissal and going to car duty yourself, you just do the best you can. Maybe tomorrow?
Because I spend so much time spending money on my classroom, I am an avid coupon clipper. Every little bit helps, so from time to time when I find some really good ones, I will post them on the blog, too. Every dollar saved is a dollar that can be used to by erasers or pencils, right??? So, here is your first peek!
