"I'm so frazzled!"

These days, I don't know if I am coming or going.  In fact, I am still reorganizing from my reorganization even though I was organized the first time around.  Long story short....9 days into this school year we lost a 2nd grade teacher and I 'inherited' 7 new kids and shortly after got a new student.  So....I was prepared for a certain number of students and all of a sudden my class grew and I didn't have the extra materials I needed.  So....slowly but surely, I am getting things done, re-inventing the wheel, and trying new approaches while implementing Common Core.  

Basically, I probably have the same story as many of you.  This is how I feel even though I don't own a lab coat:

See the dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep?  And the hair!  That is pretty close to the real thing.  Actually my hair looks like it came off of Gene Simmon's head, but, nevertheless, I am diverging from my point.  I feel like I am trying to do about 50 things at one time <because I am> and I don't have time to hunt up all of the materials I need to pull off the Word Work Centers, RTI, Guided Reading, implement Lucy Calkins, and several other things that I need to do.
