I told you yesterday that I had professional development on writing today and promised to update you on how it went. I have to tell you that I came home exhausted, which means it went pretty well. If it is a bad workshop, I come home with more energy usually! My brain was working overtime on creating new ideas, activities, mini-lessons, and rubrics. One of our big discussions was 6 Traits vs. Lucy Calkins in the area of writing. What writing program do you use? I'll try to get these ideas out to you in the next few days. Tonight...I am going to go to sleep!!!
