Beauty in You Classroom

I have to start this out by saying that I have the best 2nd grade team.  There are only 3 of us, but we sure do pack a wallop!  All three of us have very distinct and different personalities, but that works to our advantage.  Because we are all so different, we each have different strengths.  I am the dreamer....the long term planner....the one that tries to see how the impossible can be made possible.  My other 2 teammates are more logical in their thinking, but that works out, too!  One is the short term planner, the time keeper, the scheduler, and she gives out the reminders.  Our other teammate came to us after our first 20 days when we had a population explosion and had another teacher assigned to us.  She happens to be the more creative of the three of us.  Thank goodness we have her!  She has rescued me by providing patterns and ideas.  She sort of makes me want to do arts and crafts and I am not at all an arts and crafts sort of person!

This past year we had secret pals.  I had THE BEST secret pal.  This person knew when I was up and when I was down and just what I needed.  I was blessed with white chocolate/yogurt pretzels, nuts, and candy.  And, I was given these 2 beautiful wreaths below.  One was for Christmas and one was my end of the year present! Little did I know that my teammate, Jennifer Brown, was my secret pal!!!

This summer, Jennifer is spending her time  using her creative talents to make more wreaths.  She has a list of people who want her to make them wreaths and she works on just about any theme that teacher's choose!  Here are a couple of other wreaths that she has made.

If you would like to have a wreath made, email Jennifer at jnbrown2127@gmail.com.  You can also leave a comment below with your name, type of theme, and your email addy!

Enjoy!

Jenn
